The Florida Democratic Party’s annual Jefferson Jackson weekend will be June 14-16, 2013 at the Weston Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Florida. On Saturday June 15th, the Florida GLBT Democratic Caucus will be holding our Summer Membership Meeting from 11 am (sharp) to 1 pm (sharp) at the Diplomat Hotel – exact room TBA.

The Florida GLBT Democratic Caucus will be holding our Summer Membership Meeting on Saturday June 15th from 11 am to 1 pm in meeting room 307 at the Weston Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood. The agenda is being developed and will be sent out via email prior to the meeting.

Our Bylaws Committee will be presenting the first step in a process to update the Caucus Bylaws and develop policies and procedures to guide our operation as we move forward. I would encourage all of you to be involved in this process by reading and understanding the proposed amendments. My thanks to Rick, Helen and the entire committee for their great work on this important project.

Along with this important work, the GLBT Caucus meeting is being held in conjunction with the annual FDP Jefferson Jackson weekend. Being in Hollywood over this weekend will be a time when Democrats from across Florida will gather to attend committee meetings and participate in trainings. We will share the weekend schedule via email as it is confirmed and updated.
