We have been asked to assist with the Get Out The Vote (GOTV) effort and Virtual Phone Banking (VPB) in the CD District 2 special election for Jeremy Lau.

The election is June 11th and GOTV is going on now with early voting starting on June 1st. Jeremy is an ally on our issues and could have a great impact in the House of Representatives from North Florida. Below is a message from Alison Morano, FDP Vice Chair, about the race and opportunities for our involvement. I’ve created 2 virtual phone banks in Votebuilder:

1. GOTV Chase – reminding people that there is a Special Election on June 11th, and that Early Vote starts June 1. There is also still time to request a Vote by Mail ballot.
2. Vote by Mail Chase – The ballots dropped this week in Escambia and Santa Rosa (the 2 counties where the district is). We need to chase those votes.

Most people should see the GOTV Chase Phone Bank. If you would rather do the Vote by Mail Chase, just let me know.  And – if they don’t see EITHER Virtual Phone Bank – I’ll take care of that as well – just email me at alison.morano@gmail.com.
