On February 7, 2015, in Gainesville, Florida, members of the Florida LGBTA Democratic Caucus discussed the importance of transgender awareness and inclusion in order to further the goals of the organization and to strengthen our communities. Under the leadership of Transgender Inclusion Chair Terri Sharp, members of the Caucus reaffirmed their commitment to better understanding cisgender privilege and the unique differences between sexual orientation and gender identity and expression.
