The monthly meeting of the Stonewall Democrats of Pinellas County will be held at the Democratic Party Offices at 2250 First Avenue North in St Petersburg. We begin with a pre-meeting social with light snacks and beverages at 6:30 PM followed by the business meeting at 7:00 PM. Our featured speaker will be Lt. Markus Hughes – Liaison between St. Pete Police Department and the LGBTQ community. In addition to  being a liaison between the community and local law enforcement, he has been a huge advocate for the community.

We will begin important discussions on how the Stonewall Democrats can participate in voter registration.  This is a high priority for us, so please come to help us brainstorm and plan.

From July 19-21 the LGBTA Democratic Caucus membership conference will be held in Tampa. Anyone can attend the meeting, though certain parts of the conference do require a paid ticket.

Andrew Warren, state attorney from Hillsborough County, will be coming to speak to the group.
