All Gubernatorial Candidates to Address Caucus Summer Conference

All three of Florida’s declared Democratic candidates for governor will address the Summer Conference of the Florida LGBTA Democratic Caucus in Tallahassee on Saturday, August 19. The full schedule for the conference, which runs Friday, August 18 through Sunday, August 20, will be released shortly.

“The LGBTA Democratic Caucus is one of the most active organizations in the Florida Democratic Party, providing workers and funding for candidates up and down the ballot,” said Terry Fleming, president of the Florida LGBTA Democratic Caucus. “We’re excited that all of the candidates will address our members as we prepare for a crucial election season.”

The candidates — Andrew Gillum, Gwen Graham, and Chris King — will appear separately throughout the conference to address the group and answer questions. The conference is open to the press.

The Caucus’ Summer Conference is being held at the Hotel Duval, located at 415 North Monroe St. in Tallahassee. In addition to appearances by the gubernatorial candidates the program will feature a working business session, informational presentations on the upcoming election cycle, appearances by other candidates, social activities, and a Gala Dinner on Saturday, August 19 with a guest speaker.
