• Endorsed candidates for various municipal elections.
• Chapter members made over 2,000 phone calls, assisted with literature drops, and provided financial support for the chapter’s endorsed candidates in the St. Petersburg city council election. Through the Stonewall Political Action Committee, chapter members donated over $1,500 to the candidates, in addition to individual contributions from members.

• At the 2016 St. Pete Pride festival, the chapter had considerable participation in its straw poll on Democratic Presidential candidates. As a result, the chapter expanded its database of LGBT-friendly Pinellas voters.
• The chapter was an official participant in the St. Petersburg Martin Luther King Day National Parade.

The chapter purchased a table at the Pinellas Democratic Party’s inaugural African American Heritage Month Dinner in February.

• The chapter sponsored a table at the Pinellas Democratic Party’s Kennedy-King Gala
• The Pinellas Stonewall Democrats are one of the largest chapters of the Florida LGBTA Democratic Caucus of the Florida Democratic Party, with over 125 members.
• Our members are involved at all levels of the Democratic Party, including: local, state and national campaigns; the Florida LGBTA Democratic Caucus and other State Democratic Party Caucuses; the Pinellas Democratic Party; the Florida Democratic Party; and the Democratic National Committee.
